Racing Incident Report

SMART THINKER began only fairly.
CEREFINO was crowded for room on jumping between SHINING ON and MEHBOOB which shifted out. After this, SHINING ON was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
From the outside barrier, DASHING GRACE was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
After travelling a short distance, KING PRINT and GOOD FOR YOU bumped.
Also after travelling a short distance, FOREVER SHARP shifted out and bumped WINNER’S HEART.
After being ridden along for some distance in the early stages from a wide barrier to take up a forward position, CALIFORNIA RAD was left racing very wide after the 1100 Metres and was consequently steadied making the turn near the 1050 Metres to obtain cover behind MEHBOOB.
Approaching the 1000 Metres, GOOD FOR YOU got its head up when being steadied to allow CEREFINO to cross.
In the early stages, MEHBOOB was left racing wide and without cover and after the 800 Metres was allowed to improve its position to race outside the lead near the 700 Metres at which stage CALIFORNIA RAD was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 200 Metres, CEREFINO was checked away from the heels of WINNER’S HEART (Z Purton) which shifted out under pressure. As the Stewards were satisfied that CEREFINO had not established running to the outside of WINNER’S HEART, no further action was taken, however, Z Purton was reminded of his obligation to do his utmost to keep his mounts on a straight course.
Passing the 150 Metres, GOOD FOR YOU raced tight outside CALIFORNIA RAD which shifted out.
A veterinary inspection of DASHING GRACE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WINNER’S HEART, GOOD FOR YOU and CALIFORNIA RAD were sent for sampling.
