Racing Incident Report

When entering the track, M F Poon was dislodged from MENAGGIO without incident.
MENAGGIO jumped in at the start despite the efforts of its rider, resulting in FANTASTIC BOY losing ground when crowded onto the hindquarters of JOY N FUN LEGEND which also shifted out. Following this incident, MENAGGIO and FANTASTIC BOY were shifted across behind runners.
DECISIVE ACTION lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected and was slow to begin.
FAMILY LEADER lost its left front plate at the start.
SUNNY POWER lost its right front plate near the 1500 Metres.
Approaching the 700 Metres, FANTASTIC BOY was steadied away from the heels of PARTY EVERYDAY.
For some distance approaching and passing the 600 Metres, PARTY EVERYDAY proved very difficult to settle and was checked away from the heels of HAPPY ICHIBAN.
FANTASTIC BOY was held up for clear running from near the 350 Metres until passing the 200 Metres.
After having some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight, PARTY EVERYDAY was shifted to the outside of BABY STORM passing the 300 Metres. A short distance later, when placed under pressure, PARTY EVERYDAY shifted out marginally, resulting in INDIGENOUS STAR being hampered. The Stewards were satisfied that this incident was as a result of the racing manners of PARTY EVERYDAY and accordingly no further action was taken.
Throughout the race, JOY N FUN LEGEND travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
SUNNY POWER lost its left front plate after the race.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that JIMMU had sustained a wound to the right front coronet.
A veterinary inspection of AMAZING LUCK, SUNNY POWER and JOY N FUN LEGEND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
PARTY EVERYDAY, FULL POWER and FAMILY LEADER were sent for sampling.
