Racing Incident Report

On arrival at the barriers, C Y Ho expressed concern regarding the action of SHANGHAI MASTER. SHANGHAI MASTER was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said the horse was lame in its left front leg and accordingly was not suitable to race. Acting on this advice, SHANGHAI MASTER was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Before being allowed to race again, SHANGHAI MASTER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
KING’S TROOPER jumped in at the start, resulting in JIANGXI STAMINA being taken in onto the hindquarters of ADONIS.
SUPER LUCKY lost its left hind plate soon after the start.
After travelling a short distance, SUPER LUCKY became unbalanced after being bumped on the hindquarters by ELITE TREASURE.
Approaching the 700 Metres, ELITE TREASURE and ALL YOU KNOW bumped.
At the entrance to the Straight, SUPER LUCKY attempted to shift out to improve between FLYING GODSPELL and ALL WONGCHOY where there was insufficient room and consequently made contact with the hindquarters of ALL WONGCHOY which became unbalanced. After being disappointed for running, SUPER LUCKY was then awkwardly placed behind FLYING GODSPELL and held up for clear running until passing the 200 Metres.
Throughout the race, ALL WONGCHOY travelled wide and without cover.
The performance of JIANGXI STAMINA, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, JIANGXI STAMINA will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of ELITE TREASURE and JIANGXI STAMINA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUPER LUCKY and MEHBOOB were sent for sampling.
