Racing Incident Report

CORDYCEPS ONE began awkwardly and when being steadied in the early stages to obtain cover was bumped by RED BRICK FIGHTER which was taken out by TOUCH FAITH which shifted out. In this incident, TOUCH FAITH became unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarters. After this, both TOUCH FAITH and RED BRICK FIGHTER were steadied to obtain cover.
From the outside barrier, SMART LEADER was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Making the turn approaching the 1000 Metres, AMIGOS GIGGLE was awkwardly placed outside LORIZ which made the turn awkwardly.
Passing the 800 Metres, HAPPY TIME was awkwardly placed close to the heels of XPONENTIAL as that horse was steadied to obtain cover behind INFINITY WIN.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, TOUCH FAITH got its head on the side and lay out towards the heels of RED BRICK FIGHTER which was awkwardly placed behind HAPPY TIME.
In the early part of the Straight, INFINITY WIN lay in.
At the 250 Metres, AMIGOS GIGGLE was shifted to the outside of LORIZ after being disappointed for running inside that horse.
AMIGOS GIGGLE had some difficulty obtaining clear running passing the 200 Metres.
TOUCH FAITH was shifted out away from the heels of AMIGOS GIGGLE after the 200 Metres.
Passing the 150 Metres, LITTLE BIRD and RED BRICK FIGHTER bumped. RED BRICK FIGHTER was then awkwardly placed inside the heels of TAKINGUFURTHER approaching the 100 Metres as that horse shifted in after being bumped by CORDYCEPS ONE.
Passing the 100 Metres, AMIGOS GIGGLE was eased away from the heels of XPONENTIAL which shifted in under pressure.
Throughout the race, LITTLE BIRD travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of AMIGOS GIGGLE immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, AMIGOS GIGGLE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of LORIZ immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
INFINITY WIN, PRANCE DRAGON and XPONENTIAL were sent for sampling.
