4 5 KAHOLO ANGEL (H216) E C W Wong TT Jumped on terms, guided to a rail spot in second half of the field, briefly held up for clear running approaching top of straight, ran on evenly to take 4th without troubling winner.
5 1 MAGIC CONTROL (J333) K H Chan CP1/TT Jumped well from draw 2, chased leader on inside, raced keenly in the middle stages, battled hard early straight and held 3rd to 200M, faded late stages.

7 2 RAGING BLIZZARD (H368) H Bowman P Jumped only fairly, settled back in the field about 6Ls off the good pace, waited with until a gap opened up at 300M, made some progress without threatening. (Jockey - not too disappointed with the performance.)
8 9 BRAVE STAR (G268) K De Melo XB Bumped at the start, dropped back to a 3-wide spot towards the rear, brought widest home, responded only fairly to the line.
9 4 MAJESTIC KNIGHT (G258) L Ferraris B Jumped well and ended up more forward than intended, raced wide no cover chasing leaders throughout, 4th top of straight, couldn't sustain run 200M and weakened.
10 12 STORM RIDER (J027) K Teetan B Travelled in a 2-wide spot behind midfield, ran on fairly final 300M. Never likely.
11 10 SELF IMPROVEMENT (H337) Y L Chung TT Away awkwardly and lost ground, settled back in the field, last turning home, failed to run on under pressure.
12 7 FULL CREDIT (J185) M F Poon TT In the group chasing leaders, raced keenly early stages, came under pressure nearing 400M, soon weakened out of contention. (Jockey - made respiratory noise during race / Roarer.)
