4 8 POWER KOEPP (E301) J Orman -- Settled in mid-division, had difficulty obtaining clear running 300M-100M, kept on without threat to first two late stages.
5 12 ARGENTO OCEAN (K322) A Badel CP Settled down ahead of midfield but was caught racing wide without cover, responded well early straight and challenged for the lead but run ended 100M and faded.
6 9 FLYING WROTE (J290) C L Chau TT Stumbled shortly after the start, failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position, ended up in midfield 4-5Ls away, closed off one paced in the straight.
7 2 LUCY IN THE SKY (J275) R Kingscote TT Jumped well from draw 1 and sat in 3rd, had difficulty obtaining clear running passing for some distance passing 250M but the finishing response was only when fair late stages.
8 4 SOVEREIGN FUND (J402) H Bowman -- Slow to begin, adopted a rearward position 6-7Ls back on settling, lay in under pressure in the home straight, kept on mildly to the line but couldn't be ridden out final 50M when awkwardly placed behind a rival.
9 6 MATTERS MOST (K154) L Hewitson B/TT Crowded after the start, pushed forward to track leader on outside, briefly took over early straight, run ended 150M from home and weakened.
10 1 MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE (J325) A Atzeni P- Jumped only fairly, given a conservative ride in a position near last 6-7Ls off pace, was making progress but held up for clear running final 100M and not ridden out to the line. (No Vet findings.)
11 5 I CAN (H381) Y L Chung H/TT From wide draw dropped back to race in last, had plenty to do 400M, couldn't improve.
