Racing Incident Report

WINNING AHEAD was withdrawn on 21.6.08 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (swollen left eye). Before being allowed to race again, WINNING AHEAD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Despite being ridden along in the early stages, EXPEDIKID failed to muster speed. Throughout the race, CLEAR WIN travelled wide and without cover. RED RULER, TYCOON TAYLOR and FLY ME TO THE MOON were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported OWNERS LAD had lost its right front plate.
Additional Veterinary Reports (released on 23 June 2008)
The Veterinary Officer reported that CLEAR WIN was this morning found to have sustained an injury to the left front tendon. Before being allowed to race again, CLEAR WIN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
