Racing Incident Report

After being loaded, BUDDY WATSON, which had been fractious in the Parade Ring, broke through the front gates and galloped a circuit of the track riderless. Acting on veterinary advice that BUDDY WATSON was not suitable to race, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of the horse. Having in mind BUDDY WATSON’s pre-race manners as well as its barrier manners, the Stewards ruled that prior to being permitted to race again, BUDDY WATSON must barrier trial satisfactorily and be subjected to an official veterinary examination and must undergo a pre-race parade test.
DYNAMIC CROSS began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of PLOT RATIO.
A veterinary inspection of TIPPERARY DAVOR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
PERFECT JOY and FIERY PATROL were sent for sampling.
