Racing Incident Report

1 11 COOL BLUE (H011) Jumped only fairly. Over the final 200 Metres lay out under pressure. Over the concluding stages shifted out and made slight contact with ROMANTIC FANTASY. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 6 ROMANTIC FANTASY (H168) Contacted slightly over the concluding stages by COOL BLUE. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 2 BEAUTY MISSILE (H123) Sent for sampling post-race.
4 5 HAILTOTHEVICTORS (J508) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
5 9 MEEPMEEP (H234) Between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
6 13 HARRY'S HERO (H332) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 400 Metres was held up for clear running when being shifted to the outside of RATTAN GALAXY.
7 8 FAMILY FORTUNE (H447) After being held up for clear running making the Home Turn FAMILY FORTUNE endeavoured to improve into a run between ON THE LASH and SMART TRIO near the 450 Metres when there was not sufficient room to do so. When SMART TRIO then shifted out slightly FAMILY FORTUNE was checked when disappointed for clear running between ON THE LASH and SMART TRIO. Apprentice E C W Wong was reprimanded and advised that he must ensure that there is sufficient room for him to improve when attempting runs.
8 4 ON THE LASH (J182) Near the 450 Metres was bumped by FAMILY FORTUNE when that runner shifted out in an attempt to improve.
9 1 RATTAN GALAXY (K143) No report.
10 3 IRON LEGION (J459) Y L Chung stated that the horse jumped well today and as a result he was able to lead the event. He added that IRON LEGION did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight and, in his opinion, did not run out a strong 1800 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 12 CHATEAU LE PECHE (H471) Jumped only fairly.
12 7 FURY AND GOLD (H202) Jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 250 Metres K Teetan dropped his whip. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, FURY AND GOLD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
13 10 SMART TRIO (J538) No report.
14 14 WISDOM STAR (J351) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
