Racing Incident Report

1 14 SMART FAT CAT (K280) Sent for sampling post-race.
2 6 KINGMAN REEF (L446) Shifted in at the start and was bumped. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 11 POLAR PATCH (L211) No report.
4 12 LOVELY MILES (L165) Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by KINGMAN REEF which shifted in.
5 4 CAVA PIONEER (L359) When questioned Z Purton stated that with the early and middle stages being run inside of standard time his mount was under pressure throughout the race to maintain its position. He said near the 500 Metres when positioned behind POLAR PATCH he was reluctant to shift out to improve at that point given the manner in which his mount had raced in the early and middle stages. He said when SMART FAT CAT improved quickly to his outside at the 500 Metres he then remained racing behind POLAR PATCH and followed SMART FAT CAT into the Home Straight when able to shift to the outside of POLAR PATCH. He added under pressure in the Home Straight CAVA PIONEER continued to respond to his riding but finished the race off in a one-paced manner.
6 5 JOY TOGETHER (L227) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 3 ABSOLUTE AWAKENED (K039) Between the 300 Metres and the 100 Metres was held up for clear running.
8 13 AMAZING DUCK (H392) H Bentley stated that his mount was disadvantaged by being pressured in the early stages by CIRCUIT FIERY which went forward to lead. He said as a result his mount was unable to finish the race off in the Home Straight, particularly with the early and middle stages being run inside of standard time. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, AMAZING DUCK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
9 9 GOOD LUCK BABE (K016) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
10 1 MORGAN SUCCESS (K203) Shortly after the start bumped with SOO KOO.
11 2 CIRCUIT FIERY (H475) No report.
12 7 SOO KOO (L008) Shortly after the start became unbalanced when it bumped with MORGAN SUCCESS. Near the 900 Metres lay in and made contact with the running rail. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 8 FLYING AMANI (K152) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
14 10 PRESIDENT PEGASUS (L241) No report.
