2 8 PRAY FOR MIR (J245) After the event A Atzeni stated that his mount jumped only fairly and as a result was unable to lead as instructed. Sent for sampling post-race.

4 3 MICKLEY (K082) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
5 2 THE GOLDEN SCENERY (E379) No report.
6 7 FLAMINGO TRILLION (H192) Near the 1300 Metres was steadied to avoid STEPS AHEAD (L Ferraris) which shifted in when not quite clear. L Ferraris was advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground. FLAMINGO TRILLION then raced keenly for some distance thereafter.
7 6 SNOWFIELD (K251) Jumped only fairly. After the event M F Poon could offer no excuse for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
WV 1 ENCOUNTERED (G236) Withdrawn by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice at 12:14 pm when it was found to have a skin condition in the stable. Before being allowed to race again, ENCOUNTERED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
