Racing Incident Report

1 11 REGAL GEM (K258) Bumped shortly after the start. Near the 250 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of VICTOR THE RAPID to obtain clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 7 STORMING DRAGON (J237) Near the 500 Metres was bumped by SUGAR SUGAR which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 12 VICTOR THE RAPID (J393) No report.
4 8 THRIVING BROTHERS (J396) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
5 2 KYRUS DRAGON (H396) Held up making the Home Turn.
6 1 DRAGON FOUR SEAS (J317) Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned close to THRIVING BROTHERS which shifted in.
7 6 YOUNG ARROW (J401) Bumped shortly after the start. In the middle stages raced keenly. For some distance near the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid ROMANTIC SON. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 3 SUGAR SUGAR (G016) Shifted out near the 500 Metres and was bumped.
9 4 ROMANTIC SON (J537) No report.
10 10 FRANCIS MEYNELL (J394) Near the 300 Metres was steadied to avoid CHILL BUDDY which was giving ground. After the event H T Mo reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 9 COPARTNER FLEET (K342) Had its left front plate refitted in the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. After the event M F Poon reported that he had to make some use of his mount in the early stages to lead. He said his mount was then further disadvantaged when DRAGON FOUR SEAS placed pressure on him during the middle stages which resulted in COPARTNER FLEET not being able to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 5 CHILL BUDDY (K469) After the event Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his mount became unbalanced making the Home Turn and then was unable to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
