2 11 BEAUTY GLORY (E459) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 2 SYMBOL OF STRENGTH (K352) Jumped awkwardly and then was tightened for room between JOKER ORBIT and HARMONY N BLESSED which shifted out before being straightened by its rider.
4 10 SPIRIT OF PEACE (K007) Near the 150 Metres was bumped by SPICY GOLD which shifted out under pressure. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
5 1 HARMONY N BLESSED (E061) No report.
6 7 REFUSETOBEENGLISH (K362) Jumped awkwardly, making contact with the right side of the barriers, resulting in its rider Z Purton becoming quite unbalanced.
7 8 EVERSTAR (K264) Near the 800 Metres over-raced and shifted out to avoid the heels of BEAUTY GLORY and in doing so resulted in JOKER ORBIT, which was following, shifting in and then being checked to avoid the heels of EVERSTAR.
8 4 SPICY GOLD (H440) Near the 150 Metres shifted out under pressure and bumped SPIRIT OF PEACE.
9 5 PERFECT GENERAL (J417) Trainer C Fownes advised that the instructions were to ride the horse back in the field from a wide barrier with the amount of noted speed drawn inside. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 700 Metres was checked and shifted out abruptly to avoid LUCKY EIGHT which had gone amiss. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 12 PRESTIGE SUPERIOR (K383) Over-raced in the middle stages and was checked off the heels of PERFECT GENERAL near the 700 Metres.
11 9 JOKER ORBIT (L115) Passing the 600 Metres got unbalanced when racing tight between PERFECT GENERAL and SPIRIT OF PEACE and subsequently lost ground when negotiating the 600 Metre turn.
PU 6 LUCKY EIGHT (G204) After the 900 Metres went amiss and was retired out of the event. When questioned B Avdulla explained that when his mount was negotiating the turn near the 900 Metres it changed legs and put in an awkward stride. He said from that point the horse did not feel right in its action and therefore he was left with no option but to retire the horse out of the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY EIGHT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments. Sent for sampling post-race.
