4 1 KEEFY (G306) M F Poon sated that his instructions were to hold a midfield position. He said from the outside barrier when his mount jumped awkwardly he was obliged to settle further back in the field than intended.
5 12 FANTASTIC FUN (J364) No report.
6 2 EMBRACES (J276) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 11 WIN BEAUTY VIVA (K368) Jumped awkwardly. M Guyon stated that after settling back in the field he was satisfied with the horse’s finishing effort, however, was of the opinion it may benefit with the addition of blinkers. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 6 URANUS STAR (K511) Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned close to the heels of TELECOM FIGHTERS which shifted out. Z Purton could offer no excuse for the horse’s disappointing run. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 9 KEEN MOLLY (K386) No report.
10 5 TOURBILLON PRINCE (H122) Bumped on jumping. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up between URANUS STAR and WIN BEAUTY VIVA. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
11 4 DO YOU JUST (L094) Near the 1100 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied to avoid TELECOM FIGHTERS.
12 8 SILO (J399) A Atzeni could offer no excuse for the horse’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
