1 4 GIANT BALLON (K451) Sent for sampling post-race.
2 6 FLYING WROTE (J290) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 11 SPIRIT OF PEACE (K007) Shifted out on jumping and was bumped.
4 12 MEOWTH (J487) Approaching the 500 Metres was steadied to avoid EMBRACE ABERDEEN.
5 9 COPARTNER FLEET (K342) Kicked a rail whilst parading, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Jumped only fairly and then was bumped shortly after the start by MID WINTER WIND. Approaching the 500 Metres was steadied to avoid MEOWTH when that runner gave ground when being steadied away from EMBRACE ABERDEEN.
6 8 EMBRACE ABERDEEN (L020) Had its right hind plate refitted in the holding stables, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Leaving the 400 Metres was bumped by SPORTS LEGEND which shifted out. Bumped near the 200 Metres.
7 5 CAUSEWAY KING (L196) H Bentley confirmed the instructions were to go forward as it did in a barrier trial on 17 April 2026.
8 3 SPORTS LEGEND (H456) Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. Shifted out leaving the 400 Metres and was bumped. Near the 200 Metres shifted out and made contact with EMBRACE ABERDEEN.
9 2 HAPPY INDEX (L152) H Bowman stated that the instructions were to go forward but he was obliged to make too much use of his horse in the early stages to take up a position outside the lead. He said as a result HAPPY INDEX could not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 10 HEY BROS (L150) Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by SPORTS LEGEND. Near the 600 Metres made contact with the running rail.
11 1 MID WINTER WIND (K208) Shortly after the start shifted out and made contact with COPARTNER FLEET when being shifted behind runners from a wide barrier. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, MID WINTER WIND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
12 7 TACTICAL ACE (L249) Jumped only fairly and then made contact with SPIRIT OF PEACE which shifted out.
