1 11 LEADING AGILITY (K553) Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by TACTICAL COMMAND which shifted out slightly. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 3 AMAZING VICTORY (G123) Bumped at the start. Sent for sampling post-race.

4 12 WINNING NOW (K532) On jumping shifted in and made contact with AMAZING VICTORY.
5 8 TACTICAL COMMAND (H197) Shortly after the start shifted out and made contact with LEADING AGILITY. As a result TACTICAL COMMAND then shifted in and made contact with JOLLY COMPANION.
6 10 JOLLY COMPANION (H454) After travelling a short distance was bumped by TACTICAL COMMAND.
7 9 JUMBO BLESSING (K529) Throughout the early and middle stages raced keenly and refused to settle. After shifting to the rail near the 700 Metres then raced keenly for some distance thereafter. Near the 600 Metres JUMBO BLESSING shifted out when positioned close to AMAZING VICTORY and as a result made contact with VIGOR EYE. J Moreira stated that when placed under pressure in the Home Straight his mount finished the race off only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 4 GOLDEN EMPIRE (E490) Near the 300 Metres was hampered when taken wider by JUMBO BLESSING which lay out. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
9 7 LUCKY MCQUEEN (K064) M F Poon stated that after settling towards the back of the field his mount found it difficult to make up ground from that position in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 2 CORNERSTONE (K519) Jumped only fairly.
11 5 SMART FIGHTER (H278) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 6 VIGOR EYE (L068) Near the 600 Metres made contact with JUMBO BLESSING when that runner shifted out whilst racing keenly. Z Purton stated that he rode his mount along in the early stages to attempt to take up a forward position. He said VIGOR EYE did not show as much pace as it did at its previous race start which resulted in it settling further back than intended. He said throughout the middle stages VIGOR EYE, which is still relatively inexperienced, did not appreciate racing amongst other horses before giving ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of VIGOR EYE, a last start winner, was considered disappointing. Before being allowed to race again, VIGOR EYE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
