Racing Incident Report

1 4 CALL ME SPARKLE (K571) After travelling a short distance shifted out and bumped CROSSBORDERDUDE. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of CIRRUS SPEED. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 9 SUPREME VOYAGER (L043) From the outside barrier raced keenly in the early stages when being shifted across behind runners. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running and after the 350 Metres was steadied to avoid MASTER PHOENIX when that runner did not quicken. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 1 CROSSBORDERDUDE (L022) After travelling a short distance was bumped by CALL ME SPARKLE. On a number of occasions between the 100 Metres and the 50 Metres made contact with MALPENSA due to both runners shifting ground. Sent for sampling post-race.
4 2 MASTER PHOENIX (J516) No report.
5 5 MALPENSA (K545) On a number of occasions between the 100 Metres and the 50 Metres made contact with CROSSBORDERDUDE due to both runners shifting ground. J Orman reported that his mount jumped awkwardly and as a result got its head up and struck him in the face. Trainer W Y So confirmed that Jockey Orman was given the option of taking up a forward position if his mount commenced well enough to do so.
6 12 CIRRUS SPEED (K279) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. M F Poon reported that the connections had expected him to settle behind midfield. He said when CIRRUS SPEED jumped well today he was able to obtain a more forward position than its previous race starts.
7 8 SEA CHARIOT (K358) Noted to have blood at its mouth on arrival at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Held up for clear running between the 450 Metres and the 300 Metres. When commencing to finish the race off well became held up for clear running over the final 50 Metres behind CIRRUS SPEED and as a result was not ridden out to the finish of the event. <16/32026 Additional Veterinary Report>The Veterinary Surgeon reported that SEA CHARIOT was lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, SEA CHARIOT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
8 7 RUSSET GLOW (L059) Jumped only fairly. Held up for clear running between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres. Over the final 50 Metres could not be ridden out when held up behind MALPENSA.
9 11 RUBY SAILING (H347) M Chadwick reported that the intention was to lead the event. He said when RUBY SAILING was slow to begin it settled in a midfield position where it raced keenly.
10 3 BRILLIANT WINNER (L203) Bumped approaching the 800 Metres.
11 6 PERFECT TRIUMPH (L275) Approaching the 800 Metres made contact with BRILLIANT WINNER when racing tight to the inside of BULLISH PRIDE. Was left racing very wide and without cover from the 600 Metres. H Bowman reported that his mount, which was having its first race start, raced greenly throughout the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 10 BULLISH PRIDE (K181) Raced very wide and without cover until near the 600 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
