2 3 FORZA TORO (K355) Stood flat-footed as the start was effected and was very slow to begin. Before being allowed to race again, FORZA TORO will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial. Sent for sampling post-race.

4 9 SHOTGUN (K111) Sent for sampling post-race.
5 10 SUPER DRAGON (K389) Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
6 1 FLYING FORTUNE (L057) Jumped only fairly.
7 11 JUST FOLLOW ME (K332) Bumped shortly after the start.
8 4 MASTER PHOENIX (J516) No report.
9 14 WAVE GARDEN (K209) No report.
10 5 STAR SATYR (K231) Jumped only fairly. Near the 450 Metres was steadied when racing in restricted room between PRESIDENT PEGASUS and FLYING FORTUNE which shifted out slightly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 7 PRESIDENT PEGASUS (L241) Bumped shortly after the start. Near the 250 Metres was steadied when crowded between FUN TOGETHER which lay in and away from ALABAMA SONG and STAR SATYR (Y L Chung) which shifted out when improving to the outside of FLYING FORTUNE. Y L Chung was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. L Hewitson stated that his mount raced greenly when placed under pressure in the early stages of the Home Straight.
12 8 LUCKY GIBS (L157) No report.
13 6 FUN TOGETHER (H041) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
14 12 LUCKY SECRET (L073) E C W Wong stated that his mount hung out throughout the event and weakened in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of LUCKY SECRET, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY SECRET will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
