He said as he approached the finish of the event he heard a call from a rider to his inside and as a consequence he looked in, stopped riding and straightened his mount as he was concerned his mount was shifting in, crowding runners to his inside - Race 251.

3 K234  AKASHVANI  11/01/2026   344  AKASHVANI (K234) rider stated that he was given the option of holding a forward position if his mount commenced well. He said when his mount made contact with the right side of its starting gate on jumping and as a consequence jumped only fairly he elected to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages - Race 344.

12 K167  TIN FOOK  11/01/2026   344  TIN FOOK (K167) between the 400M and the 100 Meres was badly held up for clear running. After the 100M endeavoured to improve into a narrow run and was then checked when crowded - Race 344.
13 H170  EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS  01/01/2026   312  EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS (H170) rider advised the instructions were to hold an on-pace position but when his mount jumped awkwardly and lost ground it settled further back in the field than intended. When questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight and as to the reason he shifted out and away from a trailing position behind a runner, rider stated that soon after entering the Home Straight he was of the opinion that that runner was under pressure and not improving into the event. He said as a result he elected to shift out with a view to improving between two runners. He said when he attempted to improve between those two runners leaving the 300M a runner shifted out slightly and as a result he was unable to continue to proceed into that run which resulted in his mount being held up for clear running over the final 300M. After considering his explanation the Stewards found the tactics adopted by rider were reasonable in the circumstances. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 312.
14 K016  GOOD LUCK BABE  04/01/2026   322  GOOD LUCK BABE (K016) on jumping became unbalanced when it bumped with a runner due to both runners shifting ground. After travelling a short distance became unbalanced when it made contact with another runner - Race 322.
