6 K138  GENERAL SMART  21/01/2026   365  GENERAL SMART (K138) jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with a runner. Held up for clear running between the 200M and the 100M - Race 365.
7 J037  ONLY U  21/01/2026   365  ONLY U (J037) jumped only fairly. When questioned rider stated that with the horse dropping back in distance to 1200M he expected it to settle behind midfield and he had been requested if possible to make his run out wide in the Home Straight as his mount had been held up at its previous race starts. He said after settling in a position behind a runner he observed that horse shift out from the 600M which then resulted in his mount improving to the inside of that runner. He said although his instructions were to come wide in the Home Straight he elected to follow another runner which he considered to be one of the chances in the race with a view to then improving to the inside of the aforementioned runner and shifting that runner out to allow him to obtain clear running. He said his decision to do so was also influenced by the fact that he would have been required to ease his mount to shift to the outside of that runner to secure clear running wider on the track. He added that as he improved to the inside of that runner that runner held its position and the latter runner did not improve as he had anticipated which resulted in his mount being held up for clear running between the 350M and the 300M before finishing the race off well thereafter. After considering his explanation the Stewards found the tactics adopted by rider were reasonable in the circumstances - Race 365.
8 K189  MAJESTIC DELIGHT  11/01/2026   334  MAJESTIC DELIGHT (K189) near the 1000M made contact with a runner. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 334.
9 K111  SHOTGUN  11/01/2026   334  SHOTGUN (K111) bumped at the start - Race 334.
10 H292  WOODFIRE CHAMP  23/12/2025   284  WOODFIRE CHAMP (H292) near the 600M was bumped. Rider could offer no excuse for his mount’s disappointing performance. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 284.
11 H385  SHINE BRIGHT  01/01/2026   303  SHINE BRIGHT (H385) rider stated that the intention was to obtain cover. He said when his mount jumped well he was able to hold the lead without being pressured to do so, but, in his opinion, his mount did not run out the 1600M of the race - Race 303.

13 H326  GANGNAM STAR  01/01/2026   303  GANGNAM STAR (H326) noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start, was examined by the vet and passed suitable to race. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. When questioned rider stated that his mount hung out in the middle stages. He said near the 450M he endeavoured to force a run between two runners but when a runner commenced to give ground at that point he was checked when disappointed for that run. He added that as a result he remained very awkwardly placed behind that runner between the 450M and the 350M at which point he struck heels and blundered badly. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 303.

Rider stated that his mount hung out making the Home Turn when a runner shifted out before giving ground in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 334.
