Rider stated that his instructions were to settle the horse where comfortable. He said after being hampered on jumping his mount settled further back in the field than what he had anticipated. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued and said that as the horse raced keenly at its last start with visors on he removed visors from the horse’s gear and had instructed rider not to make use of the horse in the early stages so that it would settle better - Race 437.
