Near the 600M was steadied to avoid a runner when being shifted behind that runner in an attempt to obtain cover. When unable to obtain cover the horse raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 388.

Rider reported that with sheepskin cheek pieces being reapplied his mount raced keenly before finishing the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. Despite being ridden along in the early stages did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 397.

After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse's trachea and also found it to be a “roarer”which had previously been reported - Race 405.

He said when his mount jumped well and he did not observe horses to his inside showing intent to go forward he then elected to ride his mount along to take up a position outside the lead - Race 377.

Rider advised that from the outside barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position. He said his mount then raced too keenly in the lead before giving ground in the Home Straight. Trainer confirmed the instructions and advised that he issued those instructions as he felt there was not strong pace in the race. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 406.
