Trainer expressed disappointment with the performance of the horse but added that the horse was disadvantaged by carrying 134 lbs at its first run over 1600M. He said as a consequence the pace of the event in the early stages was quicker than he had anticipated. He added that making the Home Turn his mount hung out and as a result ran wide on the turn. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued – Race 156.
