Rider reported that his mount, which was racing first up from a spell, would derive a fitness benefit from the performance. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 294.

Rider stated that when caught wide to the outside of a runner in the early stages he was obliged to steady his mount to obtain cover behind that runner to avoid racing wide. He said as a consequence his mount settled further back in the field than what had been intended and found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight, which he attributed to the early and middle stages of the event being run outside of standard time. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings – Race 336.
