Racing Incident Report

LOTUS BREEZE began only fairly and then was crowded for room between JADE THEATRE and PRIMERO which shifted out.
From wide barriers, IRON BOY and OUR HERO were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the first turn near the 1050 Metres, the saddle of Apprentice M F Poon (GRACYDAD) shifted considerably to the right, resulting in him losing the use of initially his left iron and further around the first turn the effective use of his right iron, causing Apprentice Poon to be severely disadvantaged and unable to ride out GRACYDAD for the remainder of the race.
Making the turn approaching the 1000 Metres, CHEER WIN got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of PRIMERO.
Passing the 900 Metres, EXTREMELY FUN raced tight between BEST STEP and YOU READ MY MIND.
At the entrance to the Straight, GRACYDAD shifted out and bumped PRIMERO which became unbalanced.
Passing the 100 Metres, GRACYDAD, which was unable to be ridden out properly, PRIMERO and IRON BOY were all crowded for room between I’M A WITNESS (K C Ng) and OUR HERO (Apprentice H T Mo), both of which shifted ground. Both K C Ng and Apprentice Mo were severely reprimanded and advised to ensure that they make a greater effort than they did on this occasion to keep their mounts on a straight course.
A veterinary inspection of LOTUS BREEZE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CHEER WIN, JADE THEATRE and EXTREMELY FUN were sent for sampling.
