Racing Incident Report

GRATWICK began awkwardly and then was steadied away from the heels of KING MORTAR which shifted out.
WINNING WAYS was crowded for room on jumping between EXCEPTIONAL DESIRE and GO PUBLIC which shifted out.
Approaching the 250 Metres, Z Purton (PATCH BABY) dropped his whip.
Throughout the race, EXCEPTIONAL DESIRE travelled wide and without cover and then in the Straight gave ground.
The performance of WINNING WAYS, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, WINNING WAYS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of GO PUBLIC, HARD PROMISE and HAPPY METEOR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
PATCH BABY and RAGING BLITZKRIEG were sent for sampling.
