Racing Incident Report

FOREVER FOLKS jumped only fairly.
YOUNG VICTORY and DARCI JOY bumped at the start.
From the outside barriers, WAR WEAPON and COPARTNER ERA were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
In the early stages, POLYMER GLORIOUS over-raced and refused to settle.
For a short distance near the 400 Metres, WAR WEAPON was held up for clear running behind YOUNG VICTORY.
From the 400 Metres until after the 300 Metres, FOREVER FOLKS was held up for clear running. For a short distance again near the 150 Metres, FOREVER FOLKS was held up for clear running behind DARCI JOY when that runner shifted out under pressure.
Near the 350 Metres, POLYMER GLORIOUS was bumped by THE HULK when that runner shifted out to obtain clear running.
Near the 100 Metres, THUNDERBOLTAURUS was hampered when taken out by DARCI JOY which continued to shift out.
VANQUISHER was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
The performances of VANQUISHER and POLYMER GLORIOUS, both of which finished tailed out, were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, VANQUISHER and POLYMER GLORIOUS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of VANQUISHER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of POLYMER GLORIOUS immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea.
A veterinary inspection of THE HULK immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WAR WEAPON and DARCI JOY were sent for sampling.
