Racing Incident Report

WOOD ON FIRE jumped only fairly and then was crowded between SPANGLE FORTUNE and DARCI LEGEND which jumped awkwardly and shifted out.
DIAMOND DIAMOND jumped awkwardly.
JUNE PLANET jumped only fairly.
From wide barriers, PO ON WAY and MELBOURNE HALL were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
On straightening, ALL RICHES lay in and became unbalanced.
PUBLICIST was held up for clear running between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres.
Approaching the 400 Metres, WOOD ON FIRE became held up behind MASTER HERO and did not obtain clear running until near the 250 Metres.
Approaching the 300 Metres, MELBOURNE HALL had difficulty obtaining clear running behind DARCI LEGEND. After shifting to the inside of DARCI LEGEND, MELBOURNE HALL again had difficulty obtaining clear running when held up behind ALL RICHES near the 150 Metres when that runner commenced to give ground. As a result, MELBOURNE HALL did not obtain clear running until approaching the 100 Metres.
BRAVE AND BOLD raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection of ALL RICHES, MELBOURNE HALL, PUBLICIST and DARCI LEGEND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
JUNE PLANET, PARTERRE and MASTER HERO were sent for sampling.
<18/7/2023 Additional Veterinary Reports> ALL RICHES, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. ALL RICHES was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P F Yiu this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, ALL RICHES will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
