1 11 ATULLIBIGEAL (G173) From the 400 Metres until approaching the 250 Metres was held up for clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 9 ALACRITY (H210) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Was held up for clear running between the 350 Metres and the 300 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 4 SAUVESTRE (E315) No report.
4 10 SUPREME LUCKY (G457) Making the Home Turn was taken wider when MR ASCENDENCY shifted out to improve. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
5 8 DANCING CODE (G365) Passing the 400 Metres attempted a narrow run between PRIME MINISTER and THE GOLDEN SCENERY, but was disappointed and then shifted to the inside of THE GOLDEN SCENERY to obtain clear running. Then near the 200 Metres improved into a tight run between SUPREME LUCKY and EASON and as a result shifted out and made contact with EASON and became unbalanced inside the 100 Metres.
6 13 PRIME MINISTER (D288) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 3 THE GOLDEN SCENERY (E379) Bumped with PRIME MINISTER near the 50 Metres.
8 12 MOMENTS IN TIME (H474) Crowded near the 900 Metres.
9 14 SWEET ENCOUNTER (G426) Crowded at the start. Near the 300 Metres became held up for clear running behind MR ASCENDENCY and did not obtain clear running until after the 250 Metres when it was shifted to that runner’s outside.
10 5 EASON (G061) Shifted out when it was bumped on jumping. Inside the 100 Metres was bumped by DANCING CODE and was eased when positioned tight to the inside of THE GOLDEN SCENERY.
11 7 FIND MY LOVE (H110) Jumped awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 1 MASTER EIGHT (E330) Crowded at the start.
13 6 MR ASCENDENCY (G227) Jumped only fairly. K C Leung (KEEFY) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 900 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of MR ASCENDENCY, resulting in MR ASCENDENCY being unnecessarily crowded and taken in onto MOMENTS IN TIME which was also unnecessarily crowded. Both MOMENTS IN TIME and MR ASCENDENCY became badly unbalanced as a result. After assessing the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 1 and having regard to his record, the Stewards determined the appropriate penalty to be a reprimand. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
14 2 KEEFY (G306) Jumped awkwardly and then was crowded on jumping. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
