3 4 LIGHTNING BOLT (G130) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 1000 Metres was steadied when briefly crowded between POWER KOEPP and EXCELLENT PEERS which shifted in slightly.
4 5 EXCELLENT PEERS (G033) No report.
5 2 TOMODACHI KOKOROE (H303) When questioned, C Y Ho stated that his instructions were to hold a forward position, but his mount jumped only fairly and then was crowded soon after the start when GRATEFUL HEART shifted out. He said he elected to settle in a rearward position rather than being caught wide and without cover. He further stated that when placed under pressure in the Home Straight, TOMODACHI KOKOROE ran home well.
6 9 ACT OF FAITH (H082) No report.
7 11 SUPERB KID (H298) Slow to begin. Approaching the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of GOLDEN DARCI to continue into clear running.
8 1 POWER KOEPP (E301) No report.
9 3 GRATEFUL HEART (D278) Jumped awkwardly, shifted out soon after the start and became unbalanced. After the race, A Atzeni reported that after settling back in the field, his mount did not respond to his riding and raced in a disappointing manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 8 GIDDY UP (J020) Jumped only fairly. In the early stages raced ungenerously and making the turn near the 1000 Metres became unbalanced when racing in restricted room to the inside of JOLLY RULER. Then continued to race ungenerously for some distance thereafter. Leaving the 600 Metres got its head up and became unbalanced. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 7 JOLLY RULER (E346) Bumped shortly after the start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 10 GOLDEN DARCI (H470) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
