1 3 ENDEARED (H161) After the race, Z Purton stated that he was not instructed to hold a forward position, but after ENDEARED commenced well, he took advantage of its good start which allowed him to race in a more forward position today. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 5 CELTIC TIMES (G230) Despite being ridden along shortly after the start failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 2 BEATO (H090) Bumped on jumping and then was crowded shortly after the start by YOUNG HORIZON which shifted out. For some distance after the 300 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run to the inside of YOUNG HORIZON.
4 8 SMART FIGHTER (H278) Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after.
5 7 GOLDEN BULL (H019) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
6 1 WAR OF COURAGE (C483) No report.
7 9 KASI FARASI (B385) Bumped at the start.
8 12 MACH TEN (G382) No report. <2/1/2024 Additional Veterinary Reports> The Veterinary Surgeon reported that MACH TEN was lame in its right hind leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, MACH TEN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
9 13 YOUNG HORIZON (G272) No report.
10 10 YEABOI (G372) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 11 MORE RICE (H271) Jumped awkwardly, made heavy contact with the left side of its barrier, became unbalanced and lost ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 4 SUPER TEN (D362) No report.
PU 6 GALVANIC (H147) Bumped at the start and became unbalanced. When questioned, C Y Ho stated that after being bumped at the start, his mount blundered badly a short distance later and when he was concerned that there was something amiss with the horse, he eased it out of the race shortly after. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a small cut to the left front leg. As GALVANIC was eased out of the event, the performance was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, GALVANIC will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
