2 13 YEE CHEONG RAIDER (J176) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Sent for sampling post-race.

4 2 LET'S DO IT (E132) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 450 Metres was shifted to the outside of WINNING GOLD to obtain clear running. From the 400 Metres to the 300 Metres was taken wider when WINNING GOLD shifted out to improve.
5 5 GOLDEN RISE (H242) No report.
6 7 HAPPY DAILY (E294) Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of Y L Chung, 6th placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse’s finishing position, he was nonetheless reminded of his obligation to ensure that he fully rides his mounts out to the finish of the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
7 10 SOARING BRONCO (J162) Approaching the 100 Metres lay out and was awkwardly placed close to GOLDEN RISE. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
8 8 GIANT LEAP (J143) No report.
9 1 LEEDOX (J154) Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the right side of its barrier and was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. From approaching the 400 Metres to the 250 Metres was held up for clear running behind SUPER TAICHI and GIANT LEAP. After shifting to the inside of GIANT LEAP then became held up for clear running near the 200 Metres behind HAPPY DAILY and was again held up until near the 150 Metres.
10 12 EXCELLENT DADDY (E321) No report.
11 11 SUPER TAICHI (J201) Kicked a Parade Ring partition whilst parading, examined by the Veterinary Officer on arrival at the Start and passed suitable to race. After the race, Apprentice E C W Wong stated that whilst he intended to hold a more forward position, he did not expect to race in the lead. He said when runners to his outside did not show the intent to go forward and cross his mount, SUPER TAICHI was left racing in front.
12 9 NEVER PETER OUT (J200) No report.
13 6 CHARITY GAIN (H431) Jumped only fairly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
14 4 LUCKY GOLD (G112) After the race, C Y Ho reported that his mount travelled well in the event, but failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and was disappointing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
