5 2 CHATEAUNEUF (J219) After the race, Z Purton stated that with the expected fast early pace, the intention was to ride CHATEAUNEUF a little more conservatively in the early stages. He said after making a run on CHATEAUNEUF in the Home Straight, the horse finished the race off only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

12 14 RUBY SAILING (H347) Between the 250 Metres and the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between FORTUNE RACER and MILES AWAY. After the race, M Chadwick stated that the intention was to be in a more forward position, but after jumping only fairly and being crowded shortly after the start, RUBY SAILING did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer”.
13 10 CLEAR COURAGE (J257) Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by ALL RICHES which shifted in slightly.
14 6 FORTUNE RACER (J234) The performance of FORTUNE RACER, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, FORTUNE RACER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
