4 1 HELENE SUPAFEELING (L028) Jumped only fairly. Lay out in the Home Straight and near the 100 Metres shifted out towards ARMOUR WAR EAGLE, resulting in its rider D B McMonagle having to straighten the horse.
5 2 GLOWING PRAISES (L223) No report.
6 12 GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY (K002) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A Badel stated that he was instructed to take up a more forward position than its most recent start as connections were of the opinion that there was a lack of pace in the race.
7 14 JOKER ORBIT (L115) H T Mo stated that he was instructed to take up a more forward position than its most recent start as connections were of the opinion that there was a lack of pace in the race.
8 3 DARYL FLASH (L168) Shifted out on jumping, resulting in its rider Y L Chung having to correct his mount. Near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid GLOWING PRAISES when racing keenly. DARYL FLASH then continued to race keenly in the middle stages.
9 7 MOUNT EVEREST (K237) M L Yeung reported that over the final 100 Metres his mount had difficulty obtaining clear running as he attempted to improve into a narrow run between JOKER ORBIT and FLYING FORTUNE.
10 10 FLYING FORTUNE (L057) Jumped only fairly.
11 11 KING OF FIGHTERS (K174) Slow to begin and then was hampered shortly after the start when DARYL FLASH shifted out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
12 8 ORIGIN OF FORM (K517) No report.
13 6 CORNERSTONE (K519) Jumped only fairly.
4 RED MAESTRO (L030) Withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore). Before being allowed to race again, RED MAESTRO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
