Racing Incident Report

Pla. Horse No. Horse Incident
1 11 VERBIER (J187) Jumped only fairly. Held up on the Home Turn. Approaching the winning post shifted in, resulting in its rider L Ferraris having to stop riding and straighten. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 6 ONLY U (J037) Z Purton stated that the instructions were to endeavour to find an on-pace position and as a result he rode his mount along in the early stages to comply with those instructions. Trainer B Crawford confirmed the instructions and stated he issued those instructions as ONLY U had been racing back in its races and had found it difficult to make up ground from that position at its previous race starts. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 2 CALL TO COMMAND (J243) Jumped awkwardly.
4 3 STERLING WONGCHOY (H273) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

7 5 CONCORDE STAR (J344) When caught wide in the early stages was shifted across behind runners approaching the first turn.
8 4 THOUSAND CUPS (J482) Bounded on jumping. Y L Chung stated that his mount did not appreciate the "Good to Yielding” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 7 RACINGRACE (J102) Near the 100 Metres was steadied when crowded between CALL TO COMMAND which shifted in slightly and THOUSAND CUPS (Y L Chung) which shifted out. Y L Chung was advised to exercise more care. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
