1 11 JUICY DRAGON (K405) Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. Lay in over the final 200 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 8 ACE POWER (J181) Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. L Ferraris reported that the instructions were to be more forward but his mount did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to comply with the instructions. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 12 NO OTHER CHOICE (K049) No report.
4 10 ZOUPER FELLOW (K284) No report.
5 2 ONE MAN SHOW (K409) Jumped awkwardly and then shifted out and away from NO OTHER CHOICE. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 9 QUICK MONEY (K377) At declaration time, C L Chau was declared as the rider of both LUCKY XANDER and QUICK MONEY. It was established that C L Chau had a firm commitment to ride QUICK MONEY. As such, the Stewards permitted M F Poon to be substituted as the rider of LUCKY XANDER. For this declaration error, Jockey Chau was fined $2,000.
7 7 JOY STAR (L235) On jumping was bumped by JUICY DRAGON which shifted in.
8 4 GOOD LUCK BABE (K016) H Bowman reported that his mount was disadvantaged by racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 1 ANOTHER ZONDA (K176) Leaving the 150 Metres was crowded between HINOKAMI KAGURA and GOOD LUCK BABE.
10 5 LUCKY XANDER (K407) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 6 HINOKAMI KAGURA (H384) On jumping was bumped by ACE POWER which shifted in. Leaving the 150 Metres improved into a narrow run between ANOTHER ZONDA and JOY STAR. A short distance later HINOKAMI KAGURA was steadied when crowded between ANOTHER ZONDA which was taken in slightly by GOOD LUCK BABE when that runner commenced to weaken and JOY STAR (H T Mo) which shifted out slightly. H T Mo was advised to exercise more care. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WV-A 3 BUNDLE OF CHARM (G213) Was withdrawn by order of the Stewards at the Start acting on veterinary advice after it was found to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, BUNDLE OF CHARM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
