3 8 KING EQUINE (L379) Near the 450 Metres was shifted to the outside of M M CONCORD to improve and as a result made contact with THE UNIQUE STAR.
4 13 M M CONCORD (L076) No report.
5 6 THE UNIQUE STAR (L122) Near the 450 Metres was bumped and taken wider by KING EQUINE.
6 1 CHIU CHOW SPIRIT (H175) Apprentice P N Wong reported that as the start was effected her mount turned its head to the left and as a result jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
7 3 FIT FOR BEAUTY (K489) Z Purton reported that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and in addition he had to make use of the horse in the early stages to cross runners to his inside. He added that as a result FIT FOR BEAUTY was unable to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 14 RISING FROM ASHES (G209) The tongue tie was refitted at the Start.
9 12 KEMPES (J265) On jumping made contact with the left side of its starting gate and lost ground.
10 10 THUNDER ACTION (L314) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 4 THUNDER KIT (L121) Jumped only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 2 MAKE YOU SMILE (K426) Near the 1100 Metres was steadied to avoid TRUE BROTHERS (A Badel) which shifted in when not fully clear. A Badel was advised to exercise more care. J Moreira could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 11 WELL ENOUGH (L029) Jumped only fairly. Throughout the early stages raced keenly. Near the 1100 Metres was steadied when crowded between THUNDER KIT which shifted out slightly and THUNDER ACTION which was racing tight to the inside of FIT FOR BEAUTY. WELL ENOUGH continued to race keenly for some distance thereafter. The performance of WELL ENOUGH, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, WELL ENOUGH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
14 9 TRUE BROTHERS (L381) Shifted in shortly after the start and was corrected by its rider. The performance of TRUE BROTHERS, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, TRUE BROTHERS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
