Racing Incident Report

CIRCUIT ELITE and SUPER HONG KONG bumped at the start.
REACH GOAL jumped only fairly.
MANAGEMENT FOLKS was slow to begin and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Shortly after the start, KOWLOON GREAT and NICE BIRDIE bumped when both horses shifted ground.
From the outside barrier, BORN THE SAME DAY was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 2000 Metres, REACH GOAL raced tight to the inside of BORN THE SAME DAY which lay in.
Making the Home Turn, CIRCUIT ELITE was steadied when crowded by MANAGEMENT FOLKS which was taken in by FLYING SILVER (Apprentice Y L Chung). Apprentice Chung was reprimanded.
After the race, H Bowman (KOWLOON GREAT) stated that his mount failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight after settling back in the field and, in his opinion, may have reached the end of its preparation. A veterinary inspection of KOWLOON GREAT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of REACH GOAL, TELECOM CHEETAH and CIRCUIT ELITE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUPER HONG KONG and BORN THE SAME DAY were sent for sampling.
