4 4 HELENE FEELING (H215) Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by KEEFY.
5 8 TAJ DRAGON (H164) Raced wide and without cover until near the 550 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 2 KEEFY (G306) Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of K C Leung, 6th placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse’s finishing position, he was nonetheless reminded of his obligation to ensure that he rides his mounts out fully to the finish of the race.
7 10 HAMERON (H265) No report.
8 6 ERIMO (E193) After the 1200 Metres improved to the inside of TRUE LEGEND due to the slow pace and then was checked to avoid that runner. Continued to race keenly in the middle stages.
9 7 EVERYONE'S DELIGHT (D029) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 5 TRUE LEGEND (D047) Raced keenly in the early stages and for some distance near the 1100 Metres got its head up when being restrained from KEEFY. When questioned, K H Chan stated that with slow pace of the event in the middle stages, TRUE LEGEND raced keenly. He said approaching the 600 Metres when the pace increased, TRUE LEGEND came under pressure and despite his efforts to maintain his position to the inside of TAJ DRAGON, he was unable to do so and as a result TAJ DRAGON was able to shift in and take a position one-off behind KEEFY at that stage. Noted to have lost its right hind plate after the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained minor abrasions to its right hind fetlock and pastern.
