1 5 SUPREME SEA (L088) Jumped only fairly. Shifted out at the 400 Metres and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 9 MONTA FRUTTA (H455) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 12 JUICY DRAGON (K405) Was obliged to race wide and without cover from the 600 Metres. Near the 400 Metres was bumped by SUPREME SEA which shifted out to improve.
4 6 THUNDER PRINCE (K017) Shortly after the start was bumped by TAI VICTORY which was taken out.
5 1 DAY DAY VICTORY (J423) No report.
6 3 BEAUTY THUNDER (J299) No report.
7 10 GLACIATED (K272) Blundered on jumping, became unbalanced and lost ground. In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid HINOKAMI KAGURA.
8 2 DAILY TROPHY (H283) No report.
9 7 VIRTUOUS PHANTOM (K147) Slow to begin.
10 4 HINOKAMI KAGURA (H384) M Chadwick reported that his mount was disadvantaged by racing very wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a consequence was not able to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 11 TAI VICTORY (K124) Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between THUNDER PRINCE and DAILY TROPHY (Apprentice E C W Wong) which shifted out. Apprentice Wong was reprimanded. Near the 350 Metres rider H T Mo dropped his whip. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 8 KOLACHI (J395) Near the 500 Metres was steadied when crowded between HINOKAMI KAGURA which shifted in slightly and GLACIATED which shifted to the outside of DAILY TROPHY to improve. The performance of KOLACHI, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, KOLACHI will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
