Racing Incident Report

NEW LEADER was slow to begin. As the start was effected, BIG WINNER AGAIN lifted its front feet off the ground and consequently lost ground. BIG WINNER AGAIN was then ridden along, however, failed to muster speed. VINTAGE HUSSLER was crowded for room shortly after the start between LUCKY FOLLOW ME and DIVIDEND CHAMPION, both of which shifted ground. From the outside barrier, MOCHI was taken across behind runners shortly after the start. From a wide barrier, HAPPY FOREVER was taken back shortly after the start. Rounding the Home Turn, NEW LEADER was crowded for room when attempting a narrow run between DYNAMIC CROSS and DIVIDEND CHAMPION which was taken out slightly by LUCKY FOLLOW ME. In this incident, NEW LEADER made contact with the hindquarters of DYNAMIC CROSS which became unbalanced. At the entrance to the Straight, MOCHI was steadied and shifted to the inside of LUCKY CHEVALIER to improve. Near the 350 Metres, DIVIDEND CHAMPION, which was giving ground, was steadied away from the heels of ALWAYS WELL which shifted out. Near the 100 Metres, BIG WINNER AGAIN got its head up and lay in. Throughout the race, DIVIDEND CHAMPION travelled wide and without cover. A veterinary inspection of NOTUS, which weakened in the Straight after travelling wide, following the race did not show any significant findings. A veterinary inspection of SUCCESSFUL ERA after the race did not show any significant findings. ALWAYS WELL, LUCKY FOLLOW ME and LUCKY CHEVALIER were sent for sampling.
