Racing Incident Report
FLYING SUCCESS left the gates awkwardly, shifted in and bumped BEAMING RIVER. ELEPHANT DANCE missed the start slightly. BLAZING BOB left the gates very awkwardly, just after the start knuckled. In the early stages, BEAMING RIVER, which was being restrained to a midfield position, pulled hard, proved difficult to settle and was momentarily awkward when close to the hindquarters of BARRACUDA. Near the 900 Metres, BLAZING BOB, which was inclined to be pulling, was checked off the heels of ACE OF PACE when taken in by FLAGS UP which was shifted in to avoid BARRACUDA (A Marcus) which shifted ground to take up a position behind PLENTY WIN. A Marcus was told he has to exercise far greater care when shifting ground. After the 200 Metres, BEAMING RIVER was steadied to avoid the heels of ELEPHANT DANCE which shifted out. About 100 Metres out, BOLD'N POWER, which was giving ground, shifted in and bumped JOYOUS CHEERS. As a consequence, both horses became unbalanced.
