Racing Incident Report
When being led from the sand yard to the saddling stalls, HEALTHY WEALTHY got loose. After being re-captured, HEALTHY WEALTHY was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. DAVE'S BEST and PREMIER EXPRESS were slow to begin. SHENANEGAN began awkwardly with its head up. Near the 1400 Metres, PREMIER EXPRESS and HIGHLAND DAWN raced tight inside DAVE'S BEST which itself shifted in when being steadied to avoid the heels of HEALTHY WEALTHY (R Fradd) which shifted in when not quite clear. R Fradd was reprimanded and told to exercise more care. Near the 800 Metres, HIGHLAND DAWN was bumped by PREMIER EXPRESS which had its head on the side and shifted in. The performances of HARVEY MUDD, PREMIER EXPRESS and DAILY BREAD were considered unacceptable. Before these horses will be permitted to race again, they will be required to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. DAVE'S BEST and HEALTHY WEALTHY were sent for sampling.
