Racing Incident Report

As TRIUMPHANT MASTER entered the track, G Schofield was dislodged. MULTIWINNING bounded in the air at the start and then in the early stages proved difficult to settle. WINNING BOY began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of FLYING GENERAL. THE PIONEER was slow to begin. In the early stages, FLYING GENERAL, which from an outside gate was racing wide without cover, proved difficult to settle. Approaching the 800 Metres, FLYING GENERAL was allowed to stride forward to join the lead. In the middle stages, LOYAL DEVOTION hung out. In the early part of the Straight, DANEHILL WARRIOR had difficulty obtaining clear running, shifted out approaching the 300 Metres in an endeavour to obtain a clear run between ALWAYS WIN and ZIETENGO BOY, was unable to do so, was then steadied and shifted back to the inside of ZIETENGO BOY to improve. THE PIONEER was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. The post race clinical examination of THE PIONEER failed to reveal any abnormality. TRIUMPHANT MASTER and ALWAYS WIN were sent for sampling.
