Racing Incident Report
On jumping, GOLDEN FARM lost ground after shifting in abruptly and bumping GRAND COMMANDS. After this, GOLDEN FARM, which was racing wide and without cover, was ridden along to go forward after the 1000 Metres. SUPER PRINCE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, EASY PUNCH, which was slow to begin, lost further ground when steadied as a result of being crowded for room between BEAUTY PLUS and SALUT BEAUTE, both of which shifted ground. When being shifted behind runners shortly after the start, TAKING THE LEAD was steadied to avoid the heels of DANHERO. For some distance after the 600 Metres, BEAUTY PLUS raced tight inside DANHERO. At the 250 Metres, AMO was steadied and shifted to the outside of DRAGON AND GOLD. At the 200 Metres, DANHERO was carried wider by BEAUTY PLUS which when improving towards the outside of KROVANH was carried out by that horse. For some distance after the 200 Metres, SUPER PRINCE was awkwardly placed inside the heels of DRAGON AND GOLD which was giving ground. At the 50 Metres, C Soumillon (AMO) dropped his whip. When questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight, C Munce (SALUT BEAUTE) said after straightening he commenced to ride along hands and heels and he immediately became concerned with the action of the horse which in his opinion did not feel right. He said after the 200 Metres he pulled the whip on SALUT BEAUTE and the horse kept on fairly, however, in his opinion the horse's action worsened near the 100 Metres, it got its head on the side, changed legs and became unbalanced. He said because of this he did not continue to ride SALUT BEAUTE out to the end of the race. SALUTE BEAUTE and GOLDEN FARM were sent for an official veterinary inspection. After the race, SALUTE BEAUTE and GOLDEN FARM were examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said endoscopic examinations showed a substantial amount of blood in both horse's tracheas. Before being allowed to race again, SALUTE BEAUTE and GOLDEN FARM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. DRAGON AND GOLD, FLYING SPRINTER and AMO were sent for sampling.

SALUT BEAUTE
SALUT BEAUTE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Senior Veterinary Officer. He said at that time an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. SALUT BEAUTE was again examined by the Senior Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Size this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in both hind legs. As previously advised, SALUT BEAUTE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
DANHERO
The Senior Veterinary Officer reported DANHERO was lame in the left front fetlock when he examined the horse at the stables of Trainer P F Yiu this morning. Before being allowed to race again, DANHERO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
