Racing Incident Report

HEALTHY WEALTHY was withdrawn on 22.4.06 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (colic). Before being allowed to race again, HEALTHY WEALTHY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Making the turn out of the Straight on the first occasion, TIME SUPREME, which was shifted from the outside to the inside of GREENESSY, steadied to avoid the heels of that horse which shifted in. Near the 800 Metres, GOOD BA BA was crowded for room inside GREENESSY which at this time got its head on the side and shifted in away from BEAR DOMINANCE. Also near the 800 Metres, TIME SUPREME was checked when crowded for room between GRAND CENTRAL which shifted in and SYLLABUS which shifted out away from the heels of GOOD BA BA. Approaching the 200 Metres, GREENESSY was awkwardly placed outside the heels of MIGHTY HUGO which shifted out slightly when endeavouring to improve outside the heels of FASHION JEWELLERY which itself shifted ground. In the Straight, SOPRANO hung in, after the 200 Metres shifted ground and bumped GRAND CENTRAL. Over about the final 150 Metres, MIGHTY HUGO was unable to be properly tested when racing behind FASHION JEWELLERY and tight inside BEAR DOMINANCE which was hanging in. E Saint-Martin (BEAR DOMINANCE) explained he was instructed from the outside draw to go forward and endeavour to obtain a position with some cover. He said accordingly in the early stages he rode BEAR DOMINANCE along, went forward, however, was not able to obtain cover and travelled three wide. Trainer J Moore confirmed the riding instructions issued to E Saint-Martin. GREENESSY, ELECTRONICS SPUR and TIME SUPREME were sent for sampling.
