3 9 ENDEARED (H161) A Atzeni XB/P2 From draw 2 stayed close to the pace early on before drifting back to race in midfield middle stages, ran home well final 300M for 3rd beaten only 0.5L.
4 6 LOCH TAY (K356) R Kingscote XB From draw 12 caught wide no cover when going forward first turn, reached the lead 1100M and took them along at a slightly slow pace, headed mid-straight, faded late but managed to hold on for 4th.
5 11 NEZHA (K494) M F Poon B Crossed to the fence after the jump before settling down towards the rear, had some work to do turning home, closed off best to take 5th
6 13 TURIN MASCOT (H165) M L Yeung PC/TT- Jumped well from inside draw, obtained a position in midfield, 4Ls to make up 400M, stayed on steadily to the finish.
7 10 NOISY BOY (J536) H Bentley P2/TT Jumped only fairly from a wide draw, dropped back to race at the rear, had big task in hand 400M then ran on fairly well towards the line.
8 5 DRAGON AIR FORCE (J279) H Y Yuen TT Went forward under 10lb claimer and held the lead first turn, settled in 2nd from 1100M, fought hard to stay in contention early straight before weakening 200M.
9 1 TALENTS AMBITION (J136) Z Purton B/XB Given a patient ride, settled near last 6Ls off the pace before staying on mildly under top weight. Not able to threaten leaders.
10 3 SWORD POINT (G448) K C Leung CP Settled in midfield, moved to a 3-wide spot without cover entering home turn, kept on same pace before weakening 200M. (Jockey: no explanation for the disappointing performance / No Vet findings.)
11 14 SUPREME AGILITY (J267) A Badel TT From wide draw restrained to race in mid-division, caught racing wide throughout, didn't pick up 400M and failed to get involved in the finish.
12 2 STEPS AHEAD (J263) L Hewitson B Began only fairly, settled down in second half of the field further back than intended, failed to go on turning home. Never involved.
