Racing Incident Report

DR RACE began awkwardly and lost ground.
NOBLE DELIGHT shifted out on jumping and bumped FLYING NOBLE.
CHAMPION SUPREME (Z Purton), which began only fairly, was checked on jumping when crowded for room between POWER MAN which shifted out marginally and LUNAR ZEPHYR which shifted in. In this incident, CHAMPION SUPREME blundered. Z Purton stated that he was asked to ride CHAMPION SUPREME, which was having its first start tonight, positively from a wide barrier and have the horse race where it was comfortable. He said after stumbling at the start, he was required to balance up the horse and shift across behind runners to obtain cover. He said CHAMPION SUPREME then closed off the race strongly.
Shortly after the start, both POWER MAN and LUNAR ZEPHYR became unbalanced after bumping.
For some distance in the early part of the Straight, BEAUT BEAUT was awkwardly placed close to the heels of OCEAN ROAR when disappointed for running between that horse and LUNAR ZEPHYR. LUNAR ZEPHYR and BEAUT BEAUT then bumped near the 250 Metres.
Passing the 100 Metres, CHAMPION SUPREME was shifted to the inside of GENTLE BREEZE which was directed out from behind LUCKY LUCKY to continue improving. CHAMPION SUPREME was then badly held up for running over the final 50 Metres and consequently was not able to be ridden out.
Also passing the 100 Metres, DR RACE was awkwardly placed between GENTLE BREEZE and BEAUT BEAUT which shifted in before being corrected by its rider.
Passing the 50 Metres, GENTLE BREEZE and DR RACE bumped.
Throughout the race, MULTIMAX travelled very wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
A veterinary inspection of MULTIMAX immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LUCKY LUCKY, BEAUT BEAUT and GENTLE BREEZE were sent for sampling.
