Racing Incident Report

MERIDIAN GENIUS shifted out on jumping and bumped PRIDE OF EIGHT which lost ground when crowded for room between MERIDIAN GENIUS and CALIFORNIA REDWOOD which was also hampered on jumping after being crowded for room inside GLORIOUS STARLIGHT which shifted in when awkwardly placed inside the heels of FLAMING PASSION. After this, despite being ridden along, MERIDIAN GENIUS failed to muster speed.
HIGH RISE SOLDIER began awkwardly, shifted out and inconvenienced ROMAN TURBO.
From the outside barriers, DUBLIN STAR and TORONADO PHANTOM were steadied to obtain cover shortly after the start.
Approaching and passing the 900 Metres, LUCKY SWEYNESSE travelled keenly outside the lead.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, PRIDE OF EIGHT and TORONADO PHANTOM raced tight.
MERIDIAN GENIUS was held up for clear running from passing the 200 Metres until near the 100 Metres.
Passing the 100 Metres, PRIDE OF EIGHT was shifted to the inside of HIGH RISE SOLDIER after being momentarily awkwardly placed behind that horse.
In the Straight, LUCKY SWEYNESSE lay in under pressure and close to the finishing line shifted in and crowded FLAMING PASSION.
HIGH RISE SOLDIER travelled wide and without cover throughout.
A veterinary inspection of MERIDIAN GENIUS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LUCKY SWEYNESSE and CALIFORNIA REDWOOD were sent for sampling.
