Racing Incident Report

Whilst in the saddling stalls, GIANT’S STEPS had its left front plate refitted. GIANT’S STEPS was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
Despite being ridden along in the early stages, GREEN ZONE failed to muster speed.
From the outside barrier, GIANT’S STEPS was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
GREAT SPIRIT was crowded for room shortly after the start between BEAUTY SPARKLE and SUPREME FALCON which was taken out by LORD SINCLAIR. After this, GREAT SPIRIT was taken across behind runners.
Making the turn after the 700 Metres, VITAL FLYER got its head on the side and hung out badly across the heels of LORD SINCLAIR, resulting in the horse being severely checked and FIONN’S TREASURE, which was racing to the outside of VITAL FLYER, being badly hampered and taken extremely wide. The racing manners of VITAL FLYER were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, VITAL FLYER will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend.
Near the 250 Metres, BEAUTY SPARKLE and BUNDLE OF LOVE bumped.
Passing the 250 Metres, O Doleuze (SILVER GRECIAN) dropped his whip.
LORD SINCLAIR and GREAT SPIRIT were sent for sampling.
